Recently in Anthony's on 16 August 2023, the Media club hosted a fundraising event for the occasion of world photography day in which students from the third and fifth semesters set up a variety of stalls.
From games to food, drinks to desserts, and a wide range of snacks and street food, which happened during lunch break, they had everything set up on the basketball court. At first glance, the stalls appeared to have enough food to feed the entire College, and some stalls were quickly sold out. The event was a success overall, but some stalls lost money because their materials were delivered late and the stalls were only allowed to be set up during lunch hours which was from 12:35 to 01:00 pm. Fortunately, the fundraiser was extended on the following day and the majority of them sold out.
All in all the fundraisers was a delightful and a learning experience where memories were made and at the end of the day ' it's the bonds and memories you make that are more valuable than any gold '.
