Title: Two-day creative writing workshop for first semester students of Mass Media Department of St. Anthony’s College Date: 22nd and 23rd September 2022 Time: 3:00 to 5:00 pm Venue: Conference Hall and Room 55 of St. Anthony’s College
The workshop was organised to help the new mass media students on how to write content, but poetry was the main discussion of the workshop.
At the start of the workshop the students were told to hold onto a thought each which would be later discussed. The session began with Sir Vancouver Shullai explaining the literary tools needed to write poetry which included – Preparation to write, brewing the thoughts, pouring our hearts out and cleaning up.
A live session poem writing also took place in the workshop giving the students more insight into writing poetry.
The students were also given the time to write a few lines on anything and sharing and discussion of the content they wrote. The session concluded with the students getting more insight into writing which is valuable for them as in the field of media good writing/ good content is a necessity.
