The Mass Media Department convened in their television studio on February 16, 2023, to commence the even semester classes. Dr. Cherry A. Kharshiing, the department head, and Fr. Gervasius Nongkseh, the department director, addressed the students and provided information about the department's upcoming events, followed by instructions from other faculty members.
The indie8 Documentary Film Festival was announced to the students, and they were assigned to committees led by different teachers. Additionally, Ma'am Rosemary Ishorari, who had received the British Council Economy Scholarship to study Creative Industries and Cultural Policy at the University of Glasgow in Scotland during 2021-2022, has returned to the department after spending a year in Scotland.
The meeting concluded with the faculty advising students on academics and attendance while enjoying the semester to the fullest. We are excited about the great semester ahead.
